KSI Speaks – “Call of Duty: World War 2” Beta

The KSI community has played the “Call of Duty: World War 2” Beta, and they share their opinions on it.

2017’s Call of Duty title is “World War 2,” and the Beta dropped a few weeks ago, and the full game comes out at the beginning of November. It was promised to get back to a “boots on the ground” type of gameplay, and now that the beta is done, people are looking forward to the full release.

Numerous members in the KSI community played the beta and we’ve compiled several responses on opinions of the beta. Was it good? Did it make them want to buy the game? Do they hate it?

Let’s get on to KSI Speaks.

Question: What did you think of the “Call of Duty: World War 2” Beta?

KSI Mpliers 7 — Chief Performance Officer

I’ll end up getting the game when it drops, but I didn’t care for the beta. For me, it was just another Call of Duty. Other people seemed to really enjoy it, but I’ve always been a Halo player.

KSI FuzzyMeep 7 — Chief Executive Officer

I didn’t have any expectations, but I truly enjoyed it. It was a fusion of Battlefield and Call of Duty pre-2011. It was great.

KSI VeRiiTaS 7 — Director

I knew it was going to be boots on the ground. I came out and it was refreshing. It was old-school Call of Duty. The maps were similar to older Call of Duty games — the right map size. It had the right mixture of different play styles throughout the maps. I really liked the new class/division system they implemented. Some divisions are more specific to certain play styles. I liked that the developers were approaching a character aspect instead of past Call of Duty titles.

KSI Airborne 7 — General in FI

I thought it was on the right track to get back to the roots of Call of Duty. It generally made me want to get the game, but there are a few things they need to tweak, but I’ll chalk it up to being a beta. Some of the maps were so close together, people were spawn killing — the usual Call of Duty thing.

KSI Anansi — 3rd Lieutenant in FI

It was pretty fun. It was a lot better than previous installments. More of a natural feeling instead of people hopping around like bunny rabbits. It was good to be back trying to run around instead of trying to fly. I didn’t have a problem with it.

KSI Sarin — Sergeant in FI

I thought it was pretty good. It was a little laggy, but it was good. I’m looking forward to Destiny 2 more.
