VIDEO: GameStop is cheap and greedy?
A YouTube video allegedly shows a dumpster behind a GameStop with discarded items that could have been sold or donated.
So this video was posted about a month ago on YouTube, but it’s finally getting traction.
A man decided to record his time dumpster diving behind a GameStop and recorded some things that might make most gamers cringe.
Intentionally scratched discs, cut power cords, and other accessories had been allegedly discarded behind the store.
The guy in the video makes the point that these items could have been sold, or at least donated to good causes. Alas, they were shipped out to the dump to meet a fiery and untimely demise.
So what do you think? Is it OK if GameStop does this? Could there be another side to the argument? Let us know.
Umm I saw this on Facebook and at first was enraged the dude has a point it could be donated or simply given to people who want them but then from a retailer’ view if the goods are faulty, damaged or simply don’t work then its understandable that they would destroy or make the items void as they did by cutting the CDs so people would not try re-sell damaged or non working games on the internet.
In all honesty it’s disgusting. To think that those are many good things that could have been donated to charity or actually resold. It’s all about money these days and it is absolutely ridiculous. So many things in that video that were just horrible as !#@$. Makes me curious as to what EB Games does over here and if so, what the hell is anyone going to do about it other than complain?
