Weekend Warfare Recap: UNO & Overwatch (July 22, 2017)

Weekend Warfare last night featured UNO and Overwatch. Get the recap here!

Did you miss this weeks Weekend Warfare? Don’t worry, we’ve worked hard to supply this lovely recap!

UNO was played on play.unofreak.com, a free website that works well for a game night with the squad!

KSI Magestic brought home the victory over KSI Kamikaze708 and KSI ShadowFoxx, who finished second and third respectively.

In Overwatch,  tournaments ran smoothly due to the help from KSI Badkitty 7 and KSI Igan, who had the maps assigned to rounds. It was a double elimination, so if one were to have a rough round, they could always come back and redeem themselves. Most of the rounds were close calls and had the audience on the edge of their seats, while others were more entertaining.

KSI Mitch was awaiting his first round for about 15 minutes, but received some “roasting” from his fellow members when he came back with a loss. Some stated that he must have been sleeping, but that didn’t discourage him! He went back to practicing and managed to bring in a win with his next round.

Towards the end of the tournament KSI Mars 7 and KSI Mitch battled it out, which had the whole party spectating. It was a well fought battle, but ended with a wall to the face.

The next three rounds had the whole party spectating! That being said spectating was a bit harder to do on this game.

“There was no moving once it comes to Tracer,” said KSI Mpliers 7. Tracer is a character who teleports while in battle and it was impossible to keep up.

With finals came an intense round. KSI Mars 7 and KSI Paratroop 7 were on their toes. They showed off their skills throughout the night and ended up facing each other.

It was a tough battle, but KSI Paratroop 7 pulled through and managed to win to complete an undefeated tournament.

Paratroop had a little bit to say following the victory.

“One. Yes, I’m pregnant.. and three, I am drinking an energy drink.”

KSI Paratroop 7 said his favorite match was his first one.”

The first match, against Cray, because it took 15 minutes to set up… I come into a party, don’t listen…I didn’t know what I was doing.”

KSI Mars 7 came flying in second with a well fought battle against Paratroop. In third came Sac2Loo2Sac, who went up against KSI Mars 7 in an intense 1v1.

Huge shoutout to KSI Mpliers 7 for streaming Overwatch, and tackling the difficulty of spectating.

Thank you to all the participants who joined! They all displayed represented their Divisions with great showmanship and attitudes!
