Spirit Week Day 3: Karaoke

“There were so many good and awesome singers. It was hard for us to only choose 3 winners because everybody was great.”

Well like always at Spirit Week, everyone had a fun time listening to some great singers for the Karaoke competition.

The night started off with a bunch of great and interesting singers, but only three singers could bring home points for their divisions.

“This years event was really hard on all of us,” KSI QueenJess 7 said about judging the event. “There were so many good and awesome singers. It was hard for us to only choose 3 winners because everybody was great.”

The judges used three criteria to judge: Confidence, preparation and execution.

At the end of the night, it was time to name the winners, and it was so close in points that the top four were announced instead of the standard three.

KSIxWushu, from WI, took home first place with his rendition of Chicago’s “Hard to Say I’m Sorry.” DM’s KSI LION 7A? grabbed second place and GZ’s KSI Huntress, who sang Clara C’s Fish, took third.

KSI NEURON, from LS, sang “Wherever You Will Go” by The Calling and finished just a point behind Huntress.

It was such a really good night for all the singers, and many in the chat were amazed by the talent shown.

It took a lot of courage to represent their divisions and sing knowing hundreds of members were watching, so here’s the full participant list:
