February Community Updates
Do you like Forum Awards? Here are some updates on how to get more of them to add to your hoard! Including Donor Awards, Twitch Awards and Department Event Awards.
Greetings KSI members! I just wanted to take the time to reach out to everyone today, and provide some information on some updates that are going into effect in the not too distant future. We are working towards making some changes that positively affect your experiences as members here, and that reward you for the things that you all bring to this community. Without further ado, here are some of the current updates:
DONOR AWARDS
- The community will be instituting more Donor Awards on the forums. Under the new style, when a member either donates $5 to KSI directly or subscribes to the KSILive Twitch channel during a given month, they will receive a Donor Award based on the month of their donation. The current month’s Donor Award is “I love me”. For the Month of March it will be “Luck of the Irish”. These awards are not retroactive, meaning from February 2020 forward will be the only months you can apply for these extra awards. TWITCH SUBSCRIPTION AWARDS
- The AAP Department has also made changes to the awards for members subscribed to the KSILive Twitch channel. Previously the awards were handed out for streaks of back to back months subscribed. Now, the awards have been changed to reflect TOTAL months subscribed to the channel. If you have subscribed for 3 or more months, and missed a month in between, no problem! You will now be able to apply for First Step or any of the tiers that follow. The tiers for subscribing are at a total of 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 or 24 months. COMING SOON…
- Coming soon to a Department near you, new Department Event Awards! Be on the lookout for some awards coming into use soon by News, Productions and Tournaments & Events. These will be used for events like Weekend Warfare, the Upload Studio Montage Competition and So You Think You Can Write. These events themselves are enjoyable, and who doesn’t like an opportunity at more awards?
