Turkey Bowl 2021: Day 4 Finales

Turkey Bowl 2021 has officially ended, and man was it a doozy! Saturday was a feature of Rainbow Six Siege and Splitgate, while Sunday had members showing out in Halo Infinite and Call of Duty Vanguard. Both days matched wit and skill, and had everyone up in arms. Be sure to check out the KSI Twitch to catch up on all of the matches you may have missed!

Rainbow Six Siege 3v3 Hostage

Saturday’s adventures in Turkey Bowl started with a friendly match of R6S 3v3 Hostage. It was a single elimination, best of 3 matches game. The only catch to the game was the operator “Crash” was banned, but that didn’t seem to upset our members in the least! Three teams came to play, and they all fault with heart and soul, but there could only be one winner.

Splitgate 4v4 Shotty Snipes

Rounding out Saturday’s events was Splitgate 4v4 Shotty Snipes. Now, for those who don’t know much about Splitgate, it’s pretty interesting. Imagine that Halo and Portal got together and had a kid, well they named it Splitgate. You can throw irritating portals on walls to jump through, all while lobbing grenades and fluttering by with a jet pack. Sounds cool right? It definitely was very intriguing, to say the very least. And yes, some members get sweaty even on this game!!!

The most anticipated game of the year, Halo Infinite, started up our closing night of Turkey Bowl. The name of the game was Swat, and was a single elimination, best of 3 games series. In typical Halo fashion, this was a set that no one wanted to miss.

The competitiveness between each team was unreal, the trash talk was “no cap”, and as with every game in a semi beta format, the slight lag came to greet the members with a face of an unexpected family member showing up to a holiday function. Whether it be on the starting map “Aquarius“, the semifinals of “Recharge“, or in the finals of “Live Fire“, each and every team gave it their all. It was an absolute sight to be seen!

Rounding out our final night of Turkey Bowl 2021 was Call of Duty Vanguard. Originally, it was meant to be a 4v4 Team Death Match game type, but CoD decided to not allow a CoD-Caster position, so it moved to Hardpoint. This was a single elimination, best of 3 match setup.

In typical Call of Duty fashion, servers and connection timeouts gave a pushback to our start time. This didn’t seem to hinder our teams to terribly much. It actually seemed to fuel the penetration of their shots, and sharpen their aims. So much so, that in not just one, but TWO matches, KSI DropShot 7 managed to set off a Nuke. Yeah, you read that right. TWO V2 ROCKET NUKES WERE DETONATED!

Forums Poll Challenge

As the Turkey Bowl 2021 Annual Event came to an end, the Forums Poll was poppin hot. It was a tight battle between Chaos Syndicate and Eternal Souls, (flash back to Fall Classic right???)! As the Poll closed when CoD Vanguard started at 8pm EST, however, Chaos Syndicate pulled the race by 3 votes, winning the Forums Poll Challenge!

As Vanguard ended at at the early crack of 11pm EST, Turkey Bowl 2021 came to an close. With that being said, the hard time of impatiently awaiting the winners announcement has finally come to an end. But first, we would like to give a massive shoutout to all of the participants of Turkey Bowl.
