What to know: Overwatch Beta

The Overwatch open Beta launched Thursday. Here’s what to know.

The open beta for Overwatch deployed yesterday. I thought it be nice just to give those who might not know how to play.

How and when is it deploying?

Starting the May 5, the open beta will be available to all who want to enjoy the full fun of either being the hero bringing hope to the defenseless or crushing that very same hope as the villain. For those who had pre-ordered the game before the cut off date April 29, you could have started the beta on Tuesday rather than the 5th.

How do I obtain the beta?

I’ll explain for the Xbox one gamers step by step.

Step 1:A?Power up your Xbox one and sign into your Gamertag
Step 2:A?Switch over to the Store and then Select the “Games” Option and then the “Search All games” option
Step 3:A?Search for Overwatch (Kinda Obvious i know)
Step 4:A?Then hopefully you’ll be able to find the “Overwatch Open Beta” and download the beta (according to the current info, it will be around 6.5 GB file size)
Step 5:A?once the download has completed to 100%, you are know ready to start and battle others.

But wait,A?there’sA?more

21 Characters will be available during the beta, here’s one of them below whom I have intermediately have taken a liking to

Bastion

But then we can’t forget about a evil doer now, so below you can see Reaper

There are 12 Maps available, 3 maps for each of the 4 game modes of 6v6 combat for the beta as shown below

Assault: Hanamura, Temple of Anubis, and Volskaya Industries
Escort: Dorado, Route 66, and Watchpoint: Gibraltar
Assault/Escort Hybrid: Hollywood, King’s Row, and Numbani
Control: Ilios, Lijiang Tower, and Nepal

Different Play Modes?

In this game it gives you an option of who do you want to fight, such as Quick Play (Where go straight in to a game with other players of skill around the same as yours), Play vs AI (where you can get use to a certain character or get better with certain skills again AI controlled enemies), Custom Game (where you can customize the games rules to have some real fun either against your friends or AI) and Weekly Brawl (Where things change up with modulatingA?rule sets and restrictions)

Well its certainly looking interesting for the next week, see you on the battlefield folks
