7’s Spotlight: KSI FadeZ 7

KSI Arc 7 from HSI now interviews our latest winner of the 7’s Spotlight: KSI FadeZ 7, the HSI Department Head!

Let’s hear a little bit more about KSI FadeZ 7 and how he has gotten to where he is, being one of the most involved members in the community. Originating from Divine Reign in 2012, he is now Department Head of HSI, Join Area Moderator, Court Judge and a News team writer!

The Interview

• Who first recruited you into KSI? When was it? Can you describe that moment?
  • “I was recruited by KSI THOR 7, (now blacklisted), on October 26th 2012. It was pretty archaic. I was recruited into Sacrifice DR and within 6 hours i was placed into Rebirth DR. I never got the Code Of Conduct read to me when I was recruited, I wound up having to go to KSI AIRBORNE 7 the Co-Founder at the time to actually get trained.”
• Have you ever left or rejoined?
  • “Yeah…a couple times, this is my……(debates timeline).. third or fourth time rejoining.”
• What is your favorite part about being a Department Head?
  • “Being able to work with my staff on a grand level, as well as getting to network for the department, working hand and hand with my staff is a real pleasure. You get to see things on a different scale being a Department Head.”
• Describe how you felt when you received your latest promotion to Department Head?
  • “Conflicted and confused. It was very out of nowhere, last minute. Scotland and I talked about where the department was headed, within 15 mins he lets me know as of 15 mins ago I had been made department head of HSI. So I was really caught off guard.”
• What is the biggest challenge you face as a Department Head?
  • “Being in a newer department, getting everyone on board, and getting them on the same page as far as what we do. Working with people so they understand what we actually do and it’s just been a challenge getting that understanding across the board.”
• What are some obstacles you’ve had to overcome in your KSI career?
• “I had KSI THOR 7 in the background always attempting to undermine me. I was a part of the staff that removed his son because he violated the COC. He held a grudge against me for it which resulted in him trying to send me to WI at the time so I had to transfer out for those reasons. I was also a member of FI during the time it had undesirable leadership. They consistently harassed me as well as other members in the community, they wound up leaving the community.”
• Who is one (or multiple) KSI members (past or present) that you would consider mentors or that you’ve learned a great deal from?
  • “I only have four members I would completely 100% call a true mentors to me. KSI AIRBORNE 7, KSI Arc 7, KSI HAVOC 7, and KSI Harmony 7”
• Why did you become involved in HSI?
  • “I got involved with HSI, I was a Senior Writer of News Team, HSI was still a part of news at this time. I was asked by KSI December 77 specifically to help aid KSI Greenday 7 in getting the HSI department moving and on its feet.”
• What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment to date?
  • “I don’t know if I can just look at any one thing as a big accomplishment. If I had to pick an accomplishment I would say leaving my footprints through each department and area of the community I’ve been involved with this past year. Any impact I can make that’s positive is the only accomplishment I need.”
• What are you future goals in KSI?
  • “To better KSI as a whole in any way I can. On a personal level, I would love to eventually be on the the Board. In the grand scheme of things, bettering those around me is my main focus.”
• Where do you see yourself in this community in a year?
  • “As a Forums Moderator or really wherever I’m needed.”
• What kind of person would you say you are?
  • “I like to think I’m a caring individual, I’d say I’m a pretty well grounded person, definitely a bit sarcastic. December would make a fuss if I didn’t point that out (Laughs here).”
• What are your personal goals outside of KSI?
  • “To be happy, to be able to live a nice comfortable life. Ya know: family, kids, the whole nine.”
• If you could change anything that you’ve done in your KSI career, what would it be?
  • “Honestly I wouldn’t change anything. There are some things I wish would have went differently sure, but I wouldn’t change anything. It all got me to where I am now and I am happy with that.”
• If you could change one thing in KSI today, what would it be?
  • “I’d like to implement Taco Tuesday on a weekly basis, free tacos for everyone! Big Facts! (Greenday approves 100%) No seriously, I really enjoy how things are now, it’s a lot better than it use to be.”
• Who in KSI would you want to switch places with for a day and why?
  • “Hold on let me look at my friends list (Laughs) I would say….(waits in suspense)….KSI Greenday 7. I’d like to know what it’s like to be involved in the Forums in the capacity that she is in. And to get into the headspace she has as my second, and to really see what it must be like to be one of my best friends.”

• Have you ever used something you’ve learned here in your everyday real life? What was it, and why did you use it?
  • “The communication and organizational skills, I use them everyday in my real job. I owe a lot of my progress in communication to this community.”
• How do you keep yourself motivated to keep going in the community?
  • “(Laughs profusely) Keeps going? No, honestly the people around me keep me motivated, I really owe all of it to them.”

  • “I like games that would really put me in a bad position. It would be to much smoke for me, I don’t want that smoke.”

• What are your hobbies outside of KSI?
  • “Shooting guns, wandering random stores at 3 am, taking spur of the moment trips that I really can’t afford.”
• Do you have any pets and if so tell us about them?
  • Yes i have two pets, a beautiful Pit Bull named Minka and a really Moody Fox name Greenday. (Keep your dog away from my dog Arc!!!, there will be no Chico and Minka Puppies)”
• Where would you like to see yourself in 5 years?
  • “Paid a lot more and happy. I just want to be surrounded by people I love, and people that love me.”

  • “Trust in yourself and always keep improvement in mind. Be open to learning everyday.”

  • “Daddylooooooooooike and it be that way sometimes”
